Kelly Cooper, DVM

Dr. Cooper grew up in Clifton Park. She is a 1989 graduate of Shenendehowa High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science Magna Cum Laude in Animal Science at the University of Massachusetts in 1993, and graduated from The NYS College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1997. Since graduation, she has been living in Saratoga County and working in the Capital District until her purchase of Country Knolls Animal Hospital from Dr. Bogaard. Dr. Cooper renamed the hospital Clifton Park Veterinary Clinic a few years after purchasing. She currently has 2 cats (Lucifer and Mazikeen), 2 dogs (Benny and Misty), 1 husband and 1 son (whom she sometimes wishes she could leash!). She is a cycling nut, so don’t be surprised if you see her on the local roads on her road bike, or out in the woods on her mountain bike. She has also recently returned to the sport of Foil Fencing, which she competed in during college, and is involved with her son’s Boy Scout Troop.
