Jill Zager
DVM, CVA, CVPP, CCRP
Dr. Zager currently resides in northern Saratoga County. After graduating high school, she attended SUNY Delhi, where she earned an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology and became a licensed veterinary technician. She finished her undergraduate education at Cornell University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She then went on to Ross University, where she graduated with her DVM in 2005. In 2013, Dr. Zager became certified in Veterinary Acupuncture through the Chi Institute. In 2015, she became certified as a Veterinary Pain Practitioner through the International Veterinary Association of Pain Management (IVAPM).
In 2016, through the University of Tennessee, she became certified in Canine Rehabilitation. Dr. Zager has a house full of pets! They include her two young dogs, Kenzie (Husky/Pitbull mix) and Briar (a special needs chocolate lab), 1 cat (Autumn), and 3 horses, two Halflingers (Mister & Murphy), and a Haflinger/Welsh pony cross (Frannie). In her spare time, she enjoys doing scent work and trials with her dog.
Kelly Cooper
DVM
Dr. Cooper grew up in Clifton Park. She is a 1989 graduate of Shenendehowa High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science Magna Cum Laude in Animal Science at the University of Massachusetts in 1993, and graduated from The NYS College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1997. Since graduation, she has been living in Saratoga County and working in the Capital District until her purchase of Country Knolls Animal Hospital from Dr. Bogaard. Dr. Cooper renamed the hospital Clifton Park Veterinary Clinic a few years after purchasing it. She currently has 1 cat (Mazikeen), 1 dog (Misty), 1 husband, and 1 son (whom she sometimes wishes she could leash!). She is a cycling nut, so don’t be surprised if you see her on the local roads on her road bike, or out in the woods on her mountain bike. She has also recently returned to the sport of Foil Fencing, which she competed in during college.
